Day 121: Old friends and the Irish countryside
August 13th, 2011
I went to a small Irish town about 40km outside of Dublin to visit some friends from high school. They happened to be in Ireland (well, we kind of planned it but it just sort of also happened). It was great – just green and peaceful.

Wow, how did you get from the English Channel to Ireland so quickly?!
Ferry from Cherbourg, France to Rosslare, Ireland – about 28 hours on the water. It’s actually quite close if you look at those cities on the map. I met an Irish lady who travels that route a lot to visit her son in Cherbourg because it is more convenient than flying in to Paris and then taking the train to Cherbourg.
Loved seeing a genuine smile on your face again! So glad you could spend time relaxing with good friends.
It is a beautiful green town!
Was the Tower made during Medieval Times as well?
Oh, you guys are so young and energetic.
Definitely, white men CAN jump and, of course, women too.
I’ll tell him you said that. :) He is only half white so maybe the Filipino part is helping. The tower was made around 1100s, I think.
