Jeff and Debbie, owners of RV Interiors did this awesome custom build for me. My van, dubbed "the Bixie Build" is a 100 sq. ft. home for me and my cat, complete with everything I need to live and work off the grid. Here is the build in a nutshell:

"teke" describes the sound of the shime taiko and "don" describes the sound of a larger taiko. I've been playing Japanese taiko drums for almost ten years and I play with L.A. Matsuri Taiko.
The soundscape that an audio clip captures adds more to the picture than what meets the eye. Let your mind play with what you hear in the voices of the people I've interviewed and the sounds I've recorded. If there is something in particular you'd like to hear, let me know.
